- EABP — European Association for Body Psychotherapy. Accrediting body for European body psychotherapists, with ethics and training standards; legally registered in Switzerland, secretariat in Amsterdam. Its membership includes individual practitioners as well as training organisations and national associations.
- USABP — United States Association for Body Psychotherapy.
- International Body Psychotherapy Journal — peer-reviewed, open access, co-published by EABP and USABP.
Czech Republic
- ČABBP — Česká asociace biodynamické body-psychoterapie, z. s. — association of biodynamic psychotherapists and body therapists; therapist directory, events calendar, articles (in Czech).
- ČAPZT — Česká asociace pro psychoterapii zaměřenou na tělo — states on its website that it is a member of EABP; the site’s training information dates from 2017–2021.
- ČAP — Česká asociace pro psychoterapii — national association of psychotherapists of all orientations.
Membership in an association is not a licence. Ask a practitioner which training they completed, whether they are in supervision and which code of ethics they follow.
